Transcendental Media is an independent motion picture company based out of Los Angeles, CA with the vision of creating films and documentaries "to agitate the sleep of mankind" and that will have worldwide, lasting impact.
In 2005, Transcendental Media released its first feature length documentary, the critically acclaimed and 7-time Best Documentary winner, Flight from Death: The Quest for Immortality narrated by Gabriel Bryne (Usual Suspects, Stigmata, Jindabyne). Hailed by critics as "one of the most ambitious documentaries ever made" and "one of the best movies of the year", Flight from Death went on to win Best Documentary awards at prestigious film festivals such as Silver Lake Film Festival, Malibu International Film Festival, and the Northwest Film Forum and has screened in theaters, universities, and film festivals all over the world.
Upcoming Transcendental Media releases include The Philosopher Kings, a documentary about wisdom found among the custodial staff of America’s educational institutions.
